 MOOLOOLABA TRIATHLON March 2007

Tim, a student at St Paul's School was was a founding member of the SPS Triathlon Team. He continued to be a keen competitor after he left the school and was instrumental in setting a  Triathlon group of Current students, Teachers and past students. This group successfully competed in both the Mooloolaba Tri and the Noosa Tri teams events over the last few years.

After his passing this same group has continued to ride in his honour and his colours. The group has expanded to include his Uni mates, family and pilot friends.

Our support team includes a cheer squad, food and drinks  and a massage therapist in our tent near the track. If you can Swim 1.5km, ride 40km or run 10km or do all three we would love you to join us. We want to see a sea of Red this year at Mooloolaba!

MOOLOOLABA TRIATHLON March 2006

The Mooloolaba triathlon this year, was held in March and again Tim's friends entered in his memory. This was Tim's favourite event and he would have been competing this year as well.

Conditions were hard on the day to say the least – swim had to be held in the river due to extreme surf conditions, then the swimmer had to run 500m to get to the transition area, cyclist had to contend with approx 40km/hr head winds for the last 20km in an open highway area, and the runners just had to make up for the rest of the team  J  Thank god for the Rawlinson siblings, as my runner and swimmer were both OUTSTANDING!!!!              Paul Barrow

CAIRNS to KURUMBA  June 19- 26 2005

Before Tim's death he had decided to join the ride to Kurumba. Because of this and because they are all keen riders, Craig, Grant and Jo joined Paul and other mad cyclists to ride from Cairns to Karumba in the 4CM FM Coast to Coast ride, raising $26.000.00 for Bush Kids. A distance of 780kms in 7 days.
